Luke 12:13-21:
Jesus is teaching his disciples about greed when interrupted by a man who is asking help in acquiring his right to inheritance. Though not an uncommon question posed to rabbis, it is clear this man was not listening moments before. Jesus takes the opportunity to teach through a parable about greed and about having a false sense of security because of what one possesses.
I know that I tend to lose the sense of what is important. You remind me in so many ways and for that I am grateful.
